Harris County Commissioner for Precinct 2,Adrian Garcia, hosted the 1st annual Ramadan Iftaar dinner for the Muslim community of the Precinct. The event was held on Saturday, March 8th, at the Clear Lake Community Center in Precinct 2.

Commissioner Garcia invited the Islamic Arts Society to showcase Islamic art during the program. IAS Arabic Calligraphy artist, Mustafa Younuszad, represented the Islamic Arts Society by showcasing artwork and writing attendees names in Arabic calligraphy.
