The Islamic Arts Society was invited to participate for the 7th straight year in Asia Society Texas Center’s Joyous Eid Super Saturday event. The occasion showcased Islamic culture through food, crafts, music, and more! IAS artists showcased and engaged the visitors with traditional Islamic art forms, including Arabic calligraphy, ebru (Turkish paper-marbling), Iznik ceramic painting, and henna.
Participating artists included Sana Mirza, Mustafa Younuszad, Morad Jasim, Fatema Josh, Hina Chaudhry, Nihal Sonmez, Zhora Siddiqui, and Javeria Kamran.
